NVIDIA to aquire AGIEA

The world leader in 3D graphics accelerator technology has just purchased the leader in game physics technology. What could this mean for gamers? Well one would assume that future GeForce cards will soon incorporate PhysX technology as well. This is huge news if you’re a Unreal Tournament 3 fan for that game utilizes the PhysX SDK. This is actually big for gamers in general because we will start seeing amazing breakthroughs with physics based gameplay.

I’m excited.
